Far Rockaway Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our healthcare team in Far Rockaway, NY.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled RN Supervisor to oversee the care of our residents and ensure the highest quality of life for all our residents. The successful candidate will have a strong background in long-term care and experience in managing healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the care of residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is maintained.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and prescribing programs.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
