Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled and proactive Project Manager specializing in Continuous Improvement. Key Duties:
- Oversee and direct projects, including the G.R.O.W (Get Rid Of Waste) initiative focused on process enhancement and waste minimization, employing Lean techniques.
- Evaluate existing workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and execute strategies that optimize operations and elevate overall organizational performance.
- Engage with cross-departmental teams to design and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Track project advancements, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and timelines.
- Deliver training and guidance on Lean principles to team members, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Assess and communicate project results, showcasing the effects on efficiency, cost savings, and overall business success.
- Create engaging visual management tools, including charters, project outlines, graphs, and presentations for operational and executive reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in Project Management with an emphasis on Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or a related field.
- Certification: PMP or an equivalent Project Management certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in streamlining processes, eliminating waste, and enhancing workflows in a growth-focused environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
- Proven track record in leading or significantly contributing to Organizational Cost Savings initiatives, resulting in measurable improvements.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a skilled trades, construction, or residential services organization focused on growth.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Lean Tools.
- Working understanding of Business Management Systems.
