We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Medical IMCU team at Alaska Regional Hospital.

Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator will assist the Nursing Unit Director in planning, implementing and assessing the daily functions of Nursing Care and Services provided in the unit on all shifts.
You will provide supervisory and management oversight for staff members and departmental resources and processes. You will facilitate interventions to meet patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educational needs; coordinates functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital in a spirit that fosters positive working relationships.
You will possess excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills. You will serve as role model, mentor, educator, and evaluator in the Critical Care area.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Alaska nursing license in good standing
- An Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred
- CCRN certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications include three years clinical supervisory experience and minimum requirement: two years of Medical Step Down or ICU experience.
We estimate the salary for this role to be $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
