About the Role:

The Sanitation Associate is a vital member of our team at Bimbo Bakeries USA, responsible for ensuring high-quality sanitation standards in our facilities. This role involves a range of duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning and set up line equipment prior to production runs.
  • Safely operate equipment and machines used in the cleaning process, including rack washers, power washers, steamers, washer extractors, and dryers.
  • Follow Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) & Food Quality Plans to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Comfortable in a warm working environment.
  • Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
