As a Multi-Store Operations Manager at Jackson Hewitt - 2861, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of seasonal team members assigned to several store locations. Your goal will be to maximize the efficiency of Tax Preparer work and increase revenue and office profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recruiting efforts and manage the interviewing process of employees for assigned area.
  • Monitor associate performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
  • Review and approve work schedules and timecard approvals, monitor time tracker during all shifts, and work with Human Resources on any employee relations issues or complaints.
  • Ensure all assigned locations meet company standards, including office setup, technology setup, telecommunications, office supplies, and facilities maintenance.
  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
  • Monitor GL & P&L performance and hold/void/rejects, discount reports, and productivity reports for assigned store group.
Requirements
  • College Degree and/or equivalent related business experience.
  • Course of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting preferred.
  • Two years previous management or supervisory experience required.
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer setup and software, such as Word, Excel, and accounting or tax preparation software.
  • Previous tax preparation experience and possess a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) preferred.
