Job Summary

Under the direction of the Nursing Director, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our management/leadership team, you will provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes, including patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff in designated service areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes
  • Direct patient care as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager to achieve unit goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement plans to improve patient satisfaction, quality, and safety
  • Recruit, train, and develop unit staff to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Mexico or Compact State
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience
  • Specialty certifications in area of practice preferred
