Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily technical assistance to users by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining both networked and standalone computing devices, including workstations, mobile devices, printers, and software applications.
- Manage service requests related to computer issues, domain access, and shared drive connections, addressing problems remotely or through on-site interventions as necessary.
- Conduct scheduled installations of hardware and software, which may involve configuring and setting up new or replacement computers and network devices.
- Facilitate user access and connectivity for various devices, ensuring seamless LAN and remote access, including secure wireless and wired connections.
- Oversee the administration of iPhone user accounts and resolve any related device issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of Apple devices and accessories, ensuring prompt resolution of customer inquiries regarding applications, printers, or hardware.
- Engage in thorough troubleshooting and analysis of technical problems, documenting all actions in the Trouble Ticket system.
- Implement software updates and hardware driver installations as required.
- Record workload metrics, outcomes, and any challenges encountered in the performance of duties.
- Be responsible for deploying new or upgraded operating systems and applications as needed.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of four (4) years of experience in:
- Providing tier 1 and tier 2 technical support within a government or military environment.
- Troubleshooting a variety of mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones.
- Addressing issues with printers and other networked devices.
- Utilizing remote support tools effectively.
- Documenting support activities within trouble ticket systems.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment.
- Working with thin client solutions.
- Holding a valid US citizenship and an active security clearance.
- Possessing a Security+ CE certification (or being enrolled in a certification program).
