Job Overview

Aleknagik Technology, LLC is in search of a dedicated On-site Computer Support Specialist to provide essential support services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily technical assistance to users by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining both networked and standalone computing devices, including workstations, mobile devices, printers, and software applications.
  • Manage service requests related to computer issues, domain access, and shared drive connections, addressing problems remotely or through on-site interventions as necessary.
  • Conduct scheduled installations of hardware and software, which may involve configuring and setting up new or replacement computers and network devices.
  • Facilitate user access and connectivity for various devices, ensuring seamless LAN and remote access, including secure wireless and wired connections.
  • Oversee the administration of iPhone user accounts and resolve any related device issues.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of Apple devices and accessories, ensuring prompt resolution of customer inquiries regarding applications, printers, or hardware.
  • Engage in thorough troubleshooting and analysis of technical problems, documenting all actions in the Trouble Ticket system.
  • Implement software updates and hardware driver installations as required.
  • Record workload metrics, outcomes, and any challenges encountered in the performance of duties.
  • Be responsible for deploying new or upgraded operating systems and applications as needed.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of four (4) years of experience in:

  • Providing tier 1 and tier 2 technical support within a government or military environment.
  • Troubleshooting a variety of mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones.
  • Addressing issues with printers and other networked devices.
  • Utilizing remote support tools effectively.
  • Documenting support activities within trouble ticket systems.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment.
  • Working with thin client solutions.
  • Holding a valid US citizenship and an active security clearance.
  • Possessing a Security+ CE certification (or being enrolled in a certification program).
