Job Summary
American Axle & Mfg., Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Analyze production data to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Design and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process flow charts, and operational guidelines.
- Conduct time studies and establish labor standards for production operations.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure high-quality components and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficient in using statistical analysis software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams from various departments.
