Job Overview:
Under moderate supervision, the Ophthalmic Technician provides essential clinical support to physicians.
Key responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Scribing and documenting patient histories
- Gathering chief complaints
- Conducting diagnostic tests
- Recording significant ocular findings
Qualifications:
Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills are required. A degree or high school diploma is not mandatory.
- Less than one year of relevant experience
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- COA preferred or must complete COA within 18 months
- JCAPHO preferred
