Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Comply with the Nurse Practice Act and maintain adherence to quality standards.
- Support clinical and administrative teams in achieving set goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures, including training materials and staff development resources.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on operational activities, staying updated on best practices through continuous education.
- Optimize clinic operations through effective scheduling and resource management.
- Conduct thorough assessments to provide tailored nursing care.
- Document and prioritize care plans using critical thinking skills.
- Oversee the implementation of care plans and supervise nursing staff.
- Initiate orders for necessary prescriptions and lab tests.
- Develop educational plans for patients regarding health maintenance and restoration.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, addressing critical issues promptly.
- Coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals to appropriate services.
- Perform triage to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
- Advocate for patients' rights and promote a safe healthcare environment.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Serve as a resource for team members in clinical and leadership capacities.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, or an Associate's degree with four years of experience, or a nursing diploma with three years of experience.
- Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
