Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic environments for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Operating Room Scrub Technician Certification (CST) preferred
  • Completion of an accredited surgical scrub technician program or experience working as a scrub tech
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Minimum one year of surgery experience preferred
