We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Communications Associate to support and execute various communication efforts to promote our mission and engage our audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies to promote our mission and engage our audiences.
  • Manage social media platforms to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Write and edit content for various channels, including our website and marketing materials.
  • Maintain the organization's website and ensure consistent branding across all communication channels.
  • Support the design and production of marketing materials, including graphics and other visual content.
  • Closely collaborate with the Communications Director to ensure the Salesforce CRM is kept up-to-date and assist in implementing cybersecurity measures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM and report generation.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity management and threat mitigation.
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
  • Experience with website content management systems (Craft CMS).
  • Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for sustainable food systems and promoting local, sustainable food.
