  4. Provide guests with comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and service hours.
  5. Collaborate with team members to meet guest needs and support other departments as required.
  6. Implement the company’s guest service recovery program effectively.
  7. Utilize proper sales techniques to optimize room revenue.
  8. Monitor room availability and adhere to booking policies and procedures.
  9. Drive revenue through effective upselling of rooms and amenities.
  10. Follow established procedures for cash handling and financial transactions.
  11. Ensure proper use of equipment and adhere to cost control measures.
  12. Organize and prioritize tasks to meet productivity expectations.
  13. Comply with company policies, departmental procedures, and general work rules.
  14. Participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
  15. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with regulations.
  16. Follow protocols for guest and associate incidents.
  17. Stay informed about hotel emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of guest service experience is preferred, ideally within the hospitality industry.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to navigate the hotel premises effectively (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position ranges from $15 to $18.75 per hour.
