Corporate Finance Manager

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at AbD Serotec, you will play a pivotal role within the Corporate Finance team, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role encompasses a range of global financial activities, including supporting the monthly financial close process, managing purchase order accruals, conducting variance analysis, and engaging in discussions regarding monthly financial performance with key stakeholders. You will also partner with various functional and business leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive financial analyses, while tracking and reporting on global restructuring initiatives, along with other ad hoc financial modeling to facilitate informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the closing and reporting processes for overhead functions that support the corporate leadership team.
- Generate monthly variance analyses comparing actuals, forecasts, and budgets; investigate significant discrepancies and comprehend key business drivers.
- Collaborate with human resources to monitor and analyze global restructuring efforts, providing monthly updates on restructuring financials and their implications for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Lead and assist corporate business leadership teams in the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Support various ad-hoc financial modeling and analyses that assist corporate overhead functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Managerial Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Over 5 years of management experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Accounting, with a preference for experience in areas such as SG&A, R&D, consolidations, commercial (sales), and supply chain (manufacturing & logistics).
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on process and documentation accuracy.
- Proficient financial modeling skills with the ability to navigate complex data sets seamlessly.
- Advanced Excel capabilities (including PivotTables, Sumifs, and Sumproduct).
- Excellent written communication skills to effectively convey monthly reporting to stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise-level accounting and planning software is preferred; familiarity with Essbase and SAP is a plus. Knowledge of PowerBI or similar tools is also desirable.
