Job Overview

As a Maintenance Staff Member at FirstService Residential, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties' mechanical systems and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment will make a significant impact on our residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Routinely inspect and report on the condition of our properties' mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed while performing work.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with our building staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and repairs, as scheduled.
  • Complete daily work orders as assigned.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and other building trades.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in building trades, repair, and maintenance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
