Job Summary

Forest Properties Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our property in Fort Myers, FL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for lease by performing cleaning and other necessary tasks.
  • Report any building, ground, or system issues to the supervisor for further corrective action.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.
  • Work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • One year of experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
  • Some HVAC or appliance repair experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to lift 75 Lbs. or more and engage in physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, reaching small spaces, and standing for prolonged periods.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Bring your own tools and have reliable transportation.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA and provide proof.
