About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at Wise Auto Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our retail and shop customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure they are exposed to our full product line.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock, and notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, and verify will-call and back-order files weekly.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the parts manager, including receiving payment from retail customers, issuing credit for parts returned, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer relations skills, strong math and reading comprehension skills, and the ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire.
