Job Summary

The Kubota Project Engineer will play a key role in the development and implementation of new products and technologies within the North American R&D hub. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and launch innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical information necessary to support new product releases, including technical specifications, CAD drawings, and assembly instructions.
Perform match testing on production orders to ensure newly developed products meet the dealer's and end user's expectations.
Develop a basic understanding of relevant standards and regulations used in our industry for all assigned products.
Attend trade shows, industry compliance meetings, and training sessions to expand product knowledge.
Work to understand the root cause of service issues reported to Engineering and provide necessary support to develop and implement solutions to resolve these technical issues.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role required.
At least 4 years' experience in an agricultural setting is required.
Experience with market structure, product structure, and specification building.
Skilled at translating the engineering details into words and communicating those findings clearly to others.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Equipment Operation

Agricultural, construction, and other Kubota equipment including tractors, backhoes, and utility vehicles and attachments.
Computer, copier, phone, printer in a typical office environment.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position will require walking, standing, and sitting in field, shop, office, and computer environments.
