About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Geo team at Google. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us.

As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

Responsibilities

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites.

As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with software development and managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree, PhD, further education, or experience in engineering, computer science, or another related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with lifecycle management in a fast-paced software environment or building product requirements and managing the product life cycle end to end.
  • Experience within the Automotive, Transportation, Mapping (GIS) industries or working on consumer facing products.
