Position Overview: The Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in identifying and cultivating sales relationships with prospective clients, ultimately securing new and expanded sales agreements. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess potential clients' requirements for payroll, human resources, and related services, and effectively present tailored solutions.
- Develop and deliver proposals while ensuring consistent follow-up throughout the sales journey.
- Successfully close sales transactions.
- Facilitate the transition of clients from their previous payroll provider to The Garner Group’s systems, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to identify opportunities for additional services.
- Utilize initiative to generate leads through various channels, including cold calling and networking.
- Participate in industry events to promote The Garner Group’s offerings.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets for your designated territory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a sales role with performance metrics.
- Prior experience in the payroll or HR sector is essential.
- Demonstrated success in sales prospecting and closing deals.
- Ability to excel in a competitive landscape.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills to convey the advantages of our services.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate objections and challenges during the sales process.
- Customer-centric approach, prioritizing client needs.
- Effective presentation skills to showcase The Garner Group’s value proposition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Active listening skills to uncover clients' needs and expectations.
- Organizational proficiency.
- Familiarity with MS Office and sales automation tools is preferred.
