Senior Manufacturing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Support Lean initiatives throughout the assembly operation, identifying potential areas of improvement and continuously improving the workflow and procedure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met or exceeded.
  • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing supervisors and production workers, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and process improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including capital/equipment expenditures and operating expenses.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (5-7) years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve results.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred (FDA, ISO, etc).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in Spanish is desired.
