About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Church & Dwight. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial duties throughout the facility, including offices, manufacturing, packaging, blend, warehouses, parking lots, and grounds.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, safety policies, and quality standards to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work in clean rooms, warehouses, and production environments, using a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment, including floor scrubbers.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as wiping down furniture, walls, and doors, scrubbing toilets, washing windows, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash cans.
  • Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies, report supply needs to supervisor, and elevate sanitation needs to supervisor.
  • Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and orderly.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire, perform moderate physical activity, and lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
