REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate for the Medical Assistant role will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in Medical Assisting
- Current registration or certification
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Strong clinical competencies
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EcW
- Skills in taking vitals
- Experience with injections
- Excellent customer service abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of the Medical Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients
- Collecting medical histories
- Administering injections
- Assisting physicians
- Processing laboratory tests
- Preparing patients for EKGs
- Obtaining vital signs
- Supporting physicians during procedures
- Documenting patient histories in EMR
