Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pathologist to join our team at Seattle Children's Hospital. As a key member of our pathology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anatomic pathology services to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert anatomic pathology services, including diagnosis and consultation, to support patient care and treatment.
  • Serve as a resource and consultant to attending physicians, nursing staff, and other medical professionals on clinical pathology matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pathology services and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to advance our academic mission and improve patient outcomes.
  • Meet the criteria for faculty appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Requirements
  • MD degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology.
  • Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at Seattle Children's Hospital.
  • Faculty appointment at the University of Washington.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three years of clinical experience in Pediatric Pathology.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $283,425 to $464,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
