As the Senior Director of Energy Systems, you will be responsible for leading the development, localization, and testing of High Voltage Batteries and vehicle-related systems for Volkswagen of America. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, localization, and testing of High Voltage Batteries and vehicle-related systems according to VW Group standards.
  • Collaborate with VW CoE in Germany and NAR vehicle projects to ensure alignment and successful project management.
  • Manage supplier evaluation initiatives, qualification processes, and support localization of new suppliers.
  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of budgets, headcount, and investment plans.
  • Set strategic targets and lead Managers to the definition and achievement of goals.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • 7+ years of experience in automotive High Voltage Battery and EV Systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - required.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering - desired.
Preferred Skills:
  • Overarching Leadership skills.
  • Expert knowledge in EV & High Voltage Component technology.
  • Excellent strategical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
Work Flexibility:
  • Regular travel to worldwide locations required.
