Procurement Specialist

The Buyer role is essential to our supply chain operations, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain. This position is responsible for the strategic procurement of materials and services, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are supported by timely and cost-effective purchasing decisions.

• Transform requisitions into Purchase Orders efficiently.
• Manage and process Purchase Orders for designated materials and operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving measures.
• Assist in the collection of supplier performance metrics.
• Oversee the coordination of scrap processes with dealers.
• Maintain comprehensive supplier documentation and create necessary MSOs.
• Execute individual assignments as required.
• Foster effective working relationships across the organization.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting is required.
• Professional Certification is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with stakeholders.

Basic mathematical skills and the ability to interpret data are essential.

Ability to understand and address challenges effectively.

Must be able to observe the manufacturing environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
