This position will help College Possible connect data visualization to a strong backend structure where data is stored in a database and accurately represented. You will document, refine, and train around the data objects, associations, and rules to make data-informed decisions.

Data modeling is the process of creating a simplified diagram of a software system and the data elements it contains, using text and symbols to represent the data and how it flows. You will draft data ecosystem documentation, overviewing the data we are collecting, where data is being collected, and where the data should be stored.

The utilization of improved data practices to drive programmatic improvements and support of fundraising will allow students to be more effectively served and help end cyclical poverty through education. You will create processes and procedure documents that can be used by staff to support future data entry (training, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish clear processes for data collection, entry, and reporting
  • Develop a strong backend structure for data storage and representation
  • Document, refine, and train around data objects, associations, and rules
  • Draft data ecosystem documentation
  • Utilize improved data practices to drive programmatic improvements and support fundraising

Requirements:
