Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment in Washington, D.C.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting and hold active RN licensure, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and specialized care for newborns requiring close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
  • Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
