**Job Title:** Banquet Server

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server to join our team at The Proud Bird, a historic and iconic restaurant with a strong tie to the local community. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in private event functions, ensuring a 5-star experience from start to finish.

**Responsibilities:**

* Serve food and beverages to guests in private event functions
* Set up private event functions, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and putting out table centerpieces
* Communicate any issues from guests to Manager
* Keep inventory of all equipment in order and stored in their appropriate areas
* Provide all guests with a 5-star experience from start to finish
* Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or as directed by supervisor
* Understand and communicate products and services available to guests
* Pre-buss tables as needed
* Ensure function rooms are properly cleaned and always show-ready

**Requirements:**

* 2 years of similar experience
* High school diploma
* Excellent communication skills
* Pleasant and attentive personality
* Attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time management discipline
* Understanding of banquet operating systems
* Ability to multi-task
* Operate effectively in stressful situations
* Ability to adapt to changing guest needs
* Is a team player and interacts with all guests and fellow associates in a positive and friendly manner
* Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English

**Pay:** $24.73 / hour
