Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care, adhering to the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support and communicate effectively with other licensed independent practitioners (Physicians, NP, PA)
  • Provide clinical support and teaching for patient and family members
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing practice
  • Manage responsibilities of workload with accuracy and provide excellence in customer service
Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing or Trade School Graduate in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • LPN license in North Carolina or Virginia
  • 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in Sentara Enterprises
