Position Summary: We are seeking a Building Engineer to assist in managing the daily operations of our building systems. This role encompasses maintenance and repair of hard surfaces, basic carpentry, metal work, and the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and other mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support leadership in the efficient operation of all building systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries and manage work orders effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety practices and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain various heating and ventilation equipment, including engines, turbines, and air conditioning units.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on technical issues and maintenance recommendations.
- Participate in engineering support for a variety of systems and maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level to 5 years of engineering experience.
- Proficiency in engineering principles applicable to maintenance and operational systems.
- Strong analytical skills for addressing complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
