About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Optical Sales Associate to join our team at Grene Vision Group. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting our services to meet their eye care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote frames and lenses recommended by the doctor to meet patient needs
  • Adjust and repair glasses
  • Facilitate patient flow
  • Verify medical and vision insurances
  • Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
  • Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in person requests
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer interactive position
  • Basic computer skills
  • Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance forms
  • Favorable result on Background Check
  • Must have own vehicle and be insured, licensed driver in current state of residence
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Work Environment

This role requires regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching. Ability to move throughout the office and remain standing for long periods of time. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves is also required.
