Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare providers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish rapport with patients and other healthcare professionals to identify service requirements.
  • Assist with patient orientation and training of new team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services and procedures.
  • Support providers with fibroscans and other clinical tasks.
  • Facilitate patient reports and deliver them to providers.
  • Process outgoing referrals and ensure necessary documents are completed.
  • Clean and prepare rooms between procedures.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory and restock rooms as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary.
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Education/Training Required:
  • Degree/Certification in Medical Assisting.
  • One (1) year of e-Clinical Works (eCW) or EHR system experience preferred.
  • 3 to 5+ years of Front and back MA office experience required.
  • Bilingual Spanish / English (written and spoken) required.
