Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee resident smoking activities to ensure a safe environment.
- Distribute smoking supplies during scheduled breaks.
- Support residents and nursing staff with non-direct care tasks.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Uphold the confidentiality of resident information in line with HIPAA regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
- Valid CNA certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Prior nursing assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- Background in behavioral or memory care.
