RN PACU Part-time Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans to address patient needs.
- Prioritize patient and family needs, creating a safe and supportive environment for optimal care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and colleagues to promote health literacy and empower informed decision-making.
- Work effectively with colleagues and community partners to create comprehensive care plans, delegating tasks and following up promptly to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a specialized field of study in nursing.
- Current and valid nursing license, with BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of starting in this role.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation systems.
