Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance existing infrastructure to utilize cloud services, primarily leveraging AWS.
  • Automate code builds and deployments in alignment with DevOps, Agile, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Establish and oversee operational and security protocols to reduce risks in cloud-hosted environments.
  • Work collaboratively with development teams to provision scalable and dependable application software in a cloud setting.

  • Engage in on-call support to resolve customer-facing issues related to cloud environments.
  • Provide mentorship and training to existing IT Operations staff on cloud provisioning and best practices.
  • Uphold safety, security, and privacy standards across all responsibilities.

Required Knowledge

  • Extensive experience in designing, building, and managing internet-based full-stack commercial applications.
  • Proficient in managing data-centric, web-based applications.
  • Familiarity with container technologies, with a preference for Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud formation templates.
  • Understanding of on-premise hosting environments.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Chef.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with middleware and B2B gateway solutions.
  • Understanding of SQL and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer-Professional or equivalent experience.
