The Registered Nurse renders professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The nurse oversees other assigned team members and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with the BORN regulations and professional standards of care.
Current MA RN license is required. A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience is required. Recent acute care post-partum experience is necessary. The nurse must possess strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Demonstrated clinical competence and experience as required by the specific job posting are necessary. Recent acute care post-partum experience is required.
Certifications and/or Registrations:
- CPR Training required within the first 3 months of employment
- Evidence of continued education and professional development
- Certification or advanced training in specialty area preferred
- NRP required within 3 months of employment
