About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain complex applications that comply with regulatory standards and are hosted on public cloud platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and document application architectures, components, interfaces, and security designs.
  • Develop and maintain Java applications within cloud environments.
  • Support the migration and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline solutions.
  • Provide insights on technical design alternatives and their implications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Assist in the administration and configuration of the platform.
  • Research and propose innovative solutions, evaluating product capabilities against internal needs.
  • Independently manage medium-scale projects and problem-solving tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and processes while working with IT and business functions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks such as Spring and React.
  • Proficient in designing business functions, applications, and infrastructure architectures.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Groovy, Python, PowerShell, and others.
  • Solid understanding of database design and access methods.
  • Hands-on experience with build tools and package managers.
  • Familiarity with various technical stacks, including Docker and cloud services.
  • Experience with tools such as SonarQube and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits:

Voya Financial is committed to fair and equitable compensation. The expected salary range for this position is between $94,370 and $117,960 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your overall well-being, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
