Position Overview

Role: Java Engineering Team LeaderLocation: On-SiteExperience: 9+ yearsJob Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess a strong foundation in Java, with expertise in the SpringBoot framework being essential.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Spring Batch, Spring Data Flow, or Spring JMS frameworks.
  • Articulate Java Optimization and Database Integration, while being hands-on in development.
  • Familiarity with distributed databases such as MongoDB or other NoSQL solutions is advantageous.
  • Guide the team in writing effective unit tests utilizing JUnit, WireMock, and Mockito frameworks.
  • Proficient in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks and capable of mentoring the team in writing effective BDD tests.
  • Experience with relational databases like DB2, Postgres, or SQL Server; knowledge of Postgres is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Kafka, including sequencing management.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Rabbit MQ, and IBM MQ.
  • Experience with cloud environments, focusing on production readiness, Twelve-Factor App methodology, and migrating messaging platforms to the cloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) is required; knowledge of Gradle, GitHub, and Harness is a plus.
  • Exhibit proactivity, articulate reasoning behind tool selection, and demonstrate attention to detail in coding practices.
  • Possess the right attitude to take ownership and accountability for team deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively and lead the offshore team to ensure quality outcomes.
