Every role contributes significantly to our patients' lives, and you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We are seeking a committed Cath Lab Technologist for the Market Float Pool to join our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for both direct and indirect patient care, including scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as hemodynamic monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
- Monitoring and documenting procedures in the hemodynamic system.
- Educating patients and their families about the technical aspects of procedures.
- Assisting in the ordering of supplies and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of two years in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab is preferred.
Education: Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program or an accredited educational program in radiology.
Licenses and Certifications:
- If Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS): Required within six months.
- If Radiologic Technologist: Certification through the Texas Medical Board and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required upon hire.
- BLS and ACLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy.
This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
