Job Description

The IT Enterprise Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Departments efforts.

This position will work closely with customer IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling, de-conflicting, and coordinating routine maintenance activities along with task/project efforts, and emergency changes to minimize production systems and service downtime.
  • Responsible for the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance.
  • Directly supports the government lead and provides day-to-day planning and oversight for the customer's data centers, networks, telecommunications infrastructure, servers, systems, services, and applications.
  • Maintains an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management.
  • Conducts daily operations stand-up meetings with the applicable contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work for the day; provides applicable updates to customer leadership as required.
  • Supports the continuous improvement program for IT and develops recommendations for idea, process, and technology improvement to overall IT management.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing dispersed teams with the responsibility for project execution comprising at a minimum information systems operations, administration, and security.
  • Demonstrated support management of enterprise systems to include security, capacity, performance, availability, and facility support elements (i.e., power/cooling).
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • IAT Level II - within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) within 6 months of hire or possess a DAWIA PM Level II certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • GSLC, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Operational Air Force experience desired.
  • Knowledge of Defense Procurement and Acquisition processes highly desired.
