Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (ABA Paraprofessional) to join our team at Level Ahead ABA. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with clients with autism and related disorders in their homes and communities, under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral intervention to clients in individual sessions
  • Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervisor to implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs in accordance with best practices in ABA therapy
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data for each session using our electronic data collection platform
  • Respond to the needs and requests of clients and their families
  • Maintain active communication with clients, families, BCBA supervisors, and our administrative team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the field of ABA
  • Education or experience in education, special education, or mental health fields preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification or willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT course
  • Reliable transportation, active driver's license, and car insurance
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and ability to work independently
  • Compassion towards clients with disabilities and their families
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
