The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is accountable for the strategic planning, operational management, and growth of initiatives at Groundworks New Mexico.
In this role, the CEO will offer expert guidance and support to the Board, ensuring that the organization functions effectively and sustainably.
The CEO will serve as a consultant to the Board and all committees concerning the projects undertaken by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
The CEO is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive administrative functions of the organization, fostering the development of new assets and donor relationships, nurturing connections with current supporters, and enhancing outreach efforts; managing communications; overseeing grant applications and their execution; fund management; budget oversight; and fulfilling general administrative, governance, and community leadership duties.

Additional Information/Requirements:
The CEO will act as the face of the organization within the community, actively engaging in local initiatives. The CEO will cultivate professional connections with government representatives, other non-profit entities, and leaders in business and civic sectors.
They will continue to advance community leadership and capacity-building efforts currently within the organization's scope, while also increasing the visibility of Groundworks New Mexico among other community groups.
Application Process:
The CEO will represent the organization in the community and will actively seek to participate in community-level projects. The CEO will develop professional relationships with government officials, other non-profit organizations, and business and civic leaders.
They will continue the community leadership and capacity building initiatives currently within the scope of the organization, and will enhance awareness of Groundworks New Mexico among other community organizations.
