Maintenance Millwright Job Description

Komatsu is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory and warehousing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, service, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment
  • Remove and install components and equipment, including wiring connections and disconnections up to 60 volts
  • Repair furnaces and other heat treating equipment
  • Perform plumbing repairs throughout the plant
  • Use hand torch and simple welding to complete assigned jobs, where safety is not a factor
  • Operate material handling equipment to aid in completing jobs as needed
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of documented experience as a Journeyman or First Class Maintenance Technician or Millwright
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pumps, and other industrial mechanical equipment
  • Ability to learn and apply safety protocols to work safely, including while performing non-standard work
  • Must pass a qualification test on mechanical principles
  • Will be required to complete a physical commensurate with DOL Medium duty work requirements, including drug testing
