Job Description

Job Summary:

Etheridge Roofing Inc, a well-established and award-winning commercial roofing company, is seeking an experienced construction manager to oversee the successful completion of new construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of the assigned projects are performed and completed accurately, taking ownership of the project for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all aspects of the project are carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with customers to determine accurate start dates and update job calendars.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.
  • Ensure that the proper number of materials, equipment, and resources are on the jobsite before shortages cause delays in project completion.
  • Be responsible for crew and equipment jobsite safety.
  • Conduct inspections of work sites, address any issues that arise, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Maximize profitability by ensuring all projects are properly supervised with quality and timeliness.
  • All facets of assigned company operations adhering to and following company procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates/Bachelor's degree are a plus.
  • Must have 2+ years performance-driven experience in supervision of construction crews and subcontractors. Preference will be given to those with Project Management and Project Manager Experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable.
  • Basic computer skills needed as you will regularly use Google Drive, CompanyCam, and Outlook for communication.
  • Ability to travel to job sites with some overnight travel required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, willing and able to manage diverse and often strong-willed individuals and enforce company rules and policies evenly and without favoritism.
