Commercial Sales Director

Leonard Aluminum Utility Buildings is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Manager to lead and manage the commercial sales efforts of the organization. This key role plays a critical part in driving revenue growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in the commercial market segment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target commercial customers, aligning with overall sales and business objectives.
- Lead and oversee the outside sales team focused on commercial sales, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales goals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial market segment to expand the customer base.
- Analyze sales data, track sales metrics, and assess team performance to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Work with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with commercial clients.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports, outlining progress and achievements against sales targets for management.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to align sales efforts and support customer needs.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Manage the sales budget for commercial sales activities, optimizing resource allocation.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services to potential commercial clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in outside sales, particularly in commercial sales or B2B sales management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the commercial market segment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and lead the outside sales team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with commercial clients.
- Analytical skills to assess sales data, track performance metrics, and make informed decisions.
- Negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals with commercial customers.
- Knowledge of the commercial market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Customer-focused approach and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and sales environments.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
