Calibration Engineer

Join Ford Motor Company, a leader in the automotive industry, as a Calibration Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for leading various aspects of the Super Duty Gasoline powertrain calibration, conducting in-vehicle testing and development, and laboratory tests to validate engine and vehicle emissions, fuel economy, performance, drivability, and diagnostics.
Responsibilities:- Develop powertrain control calibrations that meet all program emissions, fuel economy, performance, drivability, and diagnostics metrics and meet program timing requirements.
- Conduct laboratory tests to validate engine and vehicle emissions, fuel economy, performance, drivability, and diagnostics.
- Conduct in-vehicle testing and development in S.E. Michigan. May include calibration development in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Northern Canada (2 week trips/4 times a year).
- Design and conduct testing to validate powertrain and vehicle attributes.
- Analyze and present summarized data collected in vehicle to validate results.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration (drivability, emissions, OBD).
- 1+ years of experience with one more of the following software tools: ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB.
- Valid Driver's License required.

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
