Job Summary:

As a key member of the Innovance Inc. team, the Shipping and Receiving Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout the facility. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Scan, move, and pick materials, supplies, and finished goods for multiple departments within the facility.
• Unload and load trucks, vans, flatbeds, and other vehicles using a forklift.
• Handle materials and products within the shipping and receiving area and throughout the manufacturing departments as required.
• Efficiently and accurately pick finished parts to prepare for shipments.
• Use a hoist to unload steel trucks.
• Data entry of purchase orders and labeling products accurately.
• Sort and record scrap materials for pickup.
• Stack skids and pallets in designated areas and clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping.
• Maintain the outside pallet area and follow established Lou-Rich Inc. ISO policies and procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines for forklift operation.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift training certificate.
• Basic math skills and good communication skills.
• Must be computer proficient and well organized with accurate work habits.
• Ability to multitask and be flexible to meet department needs.

• Lou-Rich Training Requirements: The Shipping and Receiving Operations Specialist will be required to complete applicable training and follow the syllabi for new hires and verify the Employee Orientation & Job Qualification form within the first 60 days of employment.
