About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our healthcare team at The Pearl at the Tillers. As a CNA, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their health, welfare, and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote resident independence and dignity.
  • Monitor vital signs, weight, and intake/output information to identify potential health issues and report to the nursing supervisor.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Document resident care and interactions in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest best practices and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Illinois Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
