About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Handcrafted Wines. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the Eastern Nebraska territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth in the Eastern Nebraska territory.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and be able to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring consistent orders and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • 2 or 4-year BA/BS college degree, preferred but not required.
  • Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
  • Must live in Eastern Nebraska area and cover our Eastern Nebraska territory.
  • Committed to providing a high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
  • Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry, preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferred.
  • Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Dependable and reliable transportation is required with no MVR violations.
  • Able to leverage HCW technology to perform duties and responsibilities accurately.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (i.e. smartphone, iPad, etc.) and communication techniques (i.e. email, texting, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Able to take responsibility for own actions and results.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Goal and results driven with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
About Handcrafted Wines

Handcrafted Wines is a national wine and spirits wholesaler with locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oregon. We stock inventory from hundreds of wine and spirits producers, and sell and deliver these products to retail stores, liquor stores, and restaurants across the entirety of each state. Handcrafted has been in business since 1996 and is actively expanding.
